Lil Yacthy

Lil Yacthy is a rapper and singer. His single "One Night" is his most popular hit. His actual name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is popularly known as King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. He rose to fame with his two mixtapes 'Summer Songs 2' and 'Lil Boot'. This wasn't his first attempt to sing. His initial recognition came in August 2015 with his singles "One Night" and "Minnesota'. Both were released on his debut EP (Extended play) entitled 'Summer Songs'. His current label roster includes  Capital Records and  Quality Control Music and 'Motown Records. Yachty has worked with prominent rappers such as 'D.R.A.M' and "Chance The Rapper" in addition to many others. Yachty sells merchandise through his official website. Lil Yatchy worked at McDonald's during his time at Pebblebrook High School. It was here that he met fellow promising rappers and producers. Yachty was studying at Alabama State University to graduate, but he quit after only two months. His love of music was evident from a young age. His father was a great example of this, sharing with him all kinds of music during his childhood. In 2015, he took the name "Yachty" and moved from Atlanta to New York, in order to become famous in the world. In New York, he stayed with a close friend and looked for ways to enter the music industry. He also stayed in touch with street fashion stars online and built a hefty following on Instagram. He also teamed up with Burberry Perry, a beatmaker and beatmaker. He later joined his primary collaborator K$upreme. They're collectively referred to as 'The Saling Team'. They performed in Lil' Yachty's studio in his bedroom. His first success was after Drake's OVO Sound Radio aired his popular track 'Minnesota'. Lil Yachty's breakthrough moment was via his single '1Night'. The video for the track was posted on the internet, and it quickly went viral. When the SoundCloud version that he sang "One Night" became a viral meme and the world's attention was focused on him.
