Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 1988. She
is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the founder and CEO of the company
that contracts for work, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish, German and
British Isles descent. Stone started acting in her early years as a member of
the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in
the Kenneth Grahame production "The Wind in the Willows". As she grew
older, Stone was in a variety of other shows until she made acting her career.
According to the official account she performed her PowerPoint slide show
supported by Madonna's Hollywood and dubbed "Project Hollywood" in an
effort to persuade her parents to allow her to drop out of school and move to
Los Angeles. After the presentation was accepted, she and her mother relocated
to LA. She continued her education at home and was able to audition. Her TV
debut was when she was chosen to play Laurie Partridge on the VH1
reality/talent show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). This was followed
by a few minor TV roles throughout the years. Following a string successes, her
role as Olive in Easy A (2010) was her first film role. She was a student at
Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. Although she is known for her red
hair, her natural shade is blonde. Judd Apatow was the one who suggested that
she change her natural hair shade to Superbad (2007). The film was so
well-received , she decided to keep her hair. She persuaded her parents to
allow her to move to Hollywood at the age of 15 by presenting an PowerPoint
presentation that was appropriately titled Project Hollywood. Her first
experience in acting at the age of 11 age at the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix,
AZ, where she was a part of more than 16 stage productions and also performing
in the theatre's comedy improv troupe. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at the
Valley Youth Theatre.
